Aging is inevitable, but looking like a dried-out prune? Totally optional. If you want glowy, bouncy, “what’s your secret?” skin, then listen up—because these five non-negotiables are going to be your new best friends. We’re talking real food, real hydration, and real skincare—no gross chemicals, no expensive snake oil (unless it’s actually tallow, in which case, yes, buy it).
So let’s dive in and make sure your skin stays plump, radiant, and wrinkle-resistant—all while keeping it fun and low-maintenance.
1. Eat Like Your Skin Depends On It (Because It Does)
You are literally what you eat, and your skin is the first place to show it. The key to keeping your face looking fresh? Animal-based nutrition—because collagen and fat-soluble vitamins aren’t hiding in kale chips (soz, I do love kale chips but not for radiant skin 😅).

✅ Grass-fed meats & organ meats – If you want strong, elastic skin, load up on these collagen-rich, nutrient-dense powerhouses. Your grandma was onto something with that liver and onions.
✅ Raw milk – A natural source of essential fats, enzymes, and probiotics to support glowing, hydrated skin (and a happy gut, which matters more than you think).
✅ Egg yolks – Packed with biotin and choline for skin repair and radiance—so stop throwing them out.
✅ Whole, fresh fruits & veggies – Because your skin still needs antioxidants and vitamin C to boost collagen and fight inflammation.
My FAVORITE rich source of antioxidants is a liquid elixir called Ningxia Red, read more about it HERE
2. Hydrate Smarter (Not Just More)
Chugging plain old water is fine and all, but hydrogen molecular water? That’s next level. It hydrates at the cellular level, fights oxidative stress, and keeps your skin from shriveling up like a prune. But let’s take it up another notch—adding minerals to your water is just as important.

✅ Why hydrogen molecular water? Think of it as a built-in detox and anti-aging elixir—helping your skin retain moisture, flush out toxins, and stay plump.
✅ Avoid tap water – It’s often full of chlorine and other nasties that dry out your skin and mess with your gut. (Filtered or spring water is best!)
✅ Add trace minerals – Your body needs electrolytes like magnesium, potassium, and sodium to properly absorb and utilize water. Otherwise, you’re just flushing it right through. Minerals help your skin stay hydrated, balanced, and glowing—without the bloating or dehydration crashes.
My FAVORITE way to hydrate daily is to drink a mineral mocktail !!
3. Ditch Water-Based Skincare & Slather on the Good Stuff
Most commercial skincare is just water, fillers, and preservatives disguised as “hydrating” serums. Spoiler alert: water-based skincare actually dries your skin out because it evaporates quickly, leaving your face desperate for moisture. Enter oil-based skincare, your new best friend.

Why Oil-Based Skincare Wins Every Time
✅ Tallow & Castor Oil mimic natural sebum, meaning they deeply nourish and protect your skin without clogging pores.
✅ Locks in hydration so your face stays soft, bouncy, and youthful instead of tight and dry.
✅ Supports collagen production naturally—because when your skin is well-fed, it repairs itself.
✅ Balances your skin’s microbiome, reducing breakouts, irritation, and inflammation.
Why this erases deep lines: When your skin stays hydrated and nourished long-term, it naturally repairs damage, plumps up fine lines, and keeps your complexion smooth and dewy.
Basically, it’s like turning back the clock—without the Botox.
4. Get Outside & Let the Sun Kiss Your Face
Afraid of the sun? Don’t be. Your skin craves natural sunlight for vitamin D production, collagen synthesis, and overall skin health.

✅ Morning sunlight – Helps regulate circadian rhythms and boosts skin cell turnover. Bonus: It wakes you up better than coffee.
✅ Red light therapy (660nm-850nm) – Helps reduce wrinkles, boost collagen, and heal skin faster. Think of it as an at-home fountain of youth.
✅ Skip the chemical sunscreens – They can be just as damaging as the sun itself. Instead, use shade, hats, and mineral-based sunscreen when needed.
Need a good recommendation? I use Young Living's mineral sunscreen. It has 50 SPF and is incredible when you just need a little extra protection.
5. De-Stress & Get That Lymph Moving
Stress and sluggish lymphatic flow = puffy, tired-looking skin (not the vibe). If you want to keep your skin firm and glowing, you need to de-puff, detox, and chill out.

✅ Facial massage & gua sha – Boosts circulation, reduces puffiness, and naturally lifts and sculpts your face.
✅ Castor oil packs for lymphatic detox – An ancient remedy that supports drainage, reduces inflammation, and helps skin glow from the inside out.
✅ Young Living essential oils (Frankincense 2, Sandalwood, Blue Tansy) – The ultimate skin-healing and anti-aging trio.
✅ Get solid sleep – This is when your skin does all its repairing. Aim for 7-9 hours of deep, restorative sleep.
Final Thoughts: Glow Up from the Inside Out
If you follow these five non-negotiables, you won’t just get better skin—you’ll feel more vibrant, energized, and youthful overall. Because when you feed your body well, hydrate smartly, and nourish your skin properly, aging becomes a choice, not a sentence.

✅ Eat real, animal-based foods for collagen & elasticity
✅ Hydrogen molecular water + minerals for deep hydration
✅ Oil-based skincare to keep skin plump & wrinkle-free
✅ Sunlight & red light therapy to stimulate collagen
✅ Lymphatic support & stress reduction for long-term radiance
